Chapitres
Ex : There was very little noise . Il y avait très peu de bruit . There were few cars in the street . Dans le tableau ci - dessous , les quantificateurs sont classés par ordre croissant de quantité : Indénombrables Dénombrables Pas de / aucun No / Not any No / Not any Peu de Little Few Un peu de A little A few Des / quelques Some / any Some / any Plusieurs _ Several Assez de Enough Enough Beaucoup de Much / a lot of Many / a lot of Lots of Lots of Une bonne quantité de Plenty of A number of La plupart de Most of the Most of the / most Tout le / toute la / tous / All the All the / each / every Toutes / Les tous On emploie plutôt a lot of dans les phrases affirmatives . Dans les phrases négatives , on préfère much et many . Ex : There isn't much traffic here except at the rush hour when there are a lot of cars . Ex : I go there every day . J'y vais tous les jours .
